These are a few of my favorite things!
Please know that while I may receive a small commisssion if you use my codes, I'm not into influencing purely for the sake of influencing. I only promote brands and products that I also purchase with my pawrents' own money, and that I love enough to actually want to spread the word. I love each of these brands and I think you will too! If you use any of my codes please send me a screenshot and I'll send you some stickers or other goodies!

My favorite adventure fuel for hiking and snowshoeing trips! Sustainably sourced, high quality proteins paired with superfoods provide optimal nourishment to support my muscles and joints. They keep me going on the trail, and help me recover more quickly afterwards. Best of all, they are tasty so even picky pups like me consider them high value treats!

Identity makes the highest quality and tastiest gently cooked food I've found. After tons of trial and error, my pawrents concluded that I just don't do well on a frozen raw diet. Identity's "Imagine" line meets AAFCO complete and balanced guidelines with 95% high quality meat. Since switching to Identity my appetite and energy are back and now I am thriving!

I've brushed nightly with PetSmile since I was a wee pup. It keeps my breath fresh so the humans don't mind me kissing them. And it works to clean teeth, because last year when I was under anesthesia for a paw procedure my vet tried to scale my teeth - but she couldn't find any tartar to scale! PetSmile is the only brand of toothpaste to carry the VOHC seal of approval.

As my vet says, "bad joints need good muscles." Myos is a unique supplement that helps build muscle faster with exercise, and helps slow atrophy in the absence of exercise. I've used it annually when rehabbing after elbow injections and it helps prevent my muscles from shrinking. Now I'm using it proactively to help me build muscle as I work on a conditioning program!

The most stylish, best fitting flannel and cotton bandanas around! They feature Inclusive sizing, excellent drape, and multiple snaps to dial in the fit whether I'm in my thick winter coat or thin summer coat. These bandanas help my dark fur to pop in photos. They also seem to help people relate to me and be less intimidated when they meet me in person.

Finn's supplements, additives, and care products are formulated with the help of veterinarians and meet audited NASC quality standards. I will eat Finn supplements happily, without mom having to coat them in peanut butter! I've been using the digestive probiotics to restore my gut after antibiotics, and the allergy support chews for pollen season.
Awoo for Rescue!
I may have found my perfect furever family, but sadly there are still sooooo many wonderful dogs like me desperately looking for homes and foster homes. If you are located in the Pacific Northwest, and have the capacity and dog-savviness to foster or adopt a Malamute, please consider applying with WAMAL Rescue - you would be saving a live and gaining a new best fren in the process!
If you aren't in the PNW or can't foster or adopt right now, donations are always gratefully accepted and are used entirely towards the care of the dogs. WAMAL is a 501c3 nonprofit rescue. Check out the website for all the ways you can help!

Welcome to the Adventures of Kaiju Bear

Henlo Fren!

My name is Kaiju Bear, and I'm a half Alaskan Malamute, half Akita rescue pup. My pawrents call that mix a "kitamoo" and I am pretty much the best of both breeds! I have the energy, stamina, and goofiness of a Malamute combined with the loyalty, alertness, and protectiveness of an Akita. And of course the strength and stubbornness common to both!
My given name "Kaiju" is a Japanese word that roughly translates to "monster" or "strange beast" in English - it fits me perfectly! My litter name "Bear" became my middle name and it fits perfectly as well. I'm a lovable zoomie monster and also a total snuggle bear!
There is nothing I love more than a cold, snowy adventure in the mountains. I call the Pacific Northwest home, but have been known to travel far and wide in search of fresh snow! I unfortunately have elbow dysplasia but have a good management strategy to keep my joints healthy so that I can keep the adventures going strong all winter long!
I was adopted through WAMAL Rescue in January 2020 by a family that needed me more than they could have ever known. They devote themselves to giving me my very best life, and in return I fill their lives with love, joy, and laughter!

Favorite spot to get rubs and scritches...but only from favorite people. Being presented with the bummy to rub is considered a great honor.
BUMMY
Velvety-soft audio filters capable of hearing a treat pouch being opened from a mile away. Active noise cancellation features filter out annoying background noise like pawrents' commands. Normally carried down and relaxed, but stand upright when engaged in mischeif and can disappear completely in baby seal mode.
EARSIES
Contains teefs and a licker. Creates bleps, produces borks and awoos, and delivers kisses. Also snaccs go in here.
MOUF
Extremely boopable. Can detect frens, family, and food from great distance and cannot be fooled. Conveys greetings when pushed into your bum or crotch areas.
SNOOT
Solid muscle and prone to frequent but unpredictable zoomies.
LEGGIES
Frequently aired out in upside-down mode. Can be licked in public to embarass pawrents.
NAUGHTY BITS
Squishable, smooshable, densely furred area that can be kneaded for stress relief.
DEWLAP
Round, expressive, adorable orbs capable of manipulating humans into basically anything
EYES
Broad, flat, softly furred surface that is perfect for petting and smooching. Constantly thinking up new forms of mischief.
NOGGIN
TAIL PLUME
Magnificent floofage usually carried in a tight curl, but can be unfurled for use as a rudder during zoomies.
Contain toesies which contain toebeans, all of which are adorable. Used for excavating large amounts of snow or sand. Also suitable for whaccing pawrents when attention is required, or smaccing frens during vigourous play.
PAWSIES
Rub it.
BELLY
A very special marking that looks like a comma when fully visible. Visual symbol of a continuation of love and connection with a special dog.
